The lens I practice through is Evolutionary Astrology, which reflects the soul’s growth and evolutionary journey across this lifetime and many before it. I also weave in archetypal astrology and intuitive insight to explore the symbolic nature of the chart and the psyche.

Reading Options

These readings emphasise free-will, autonomy and choice in the here and now. You aren’t confined or limited by your chart, but instead empowered to be an active choice-maker and to learn and grow from the stories playing out. This isn’t ‘fortune-telling’ where fate takes the wheel - you are the one in the driver's seat. Astrology simply provides you with a road map, pointing towards what is possible, and a cosmic mirror into understanding your path, patterns, challenges and gifts on a symbolic level. What is a birth chart?

Your birth (or natal) chart is a snapshot of the sky at the exact moment and location of your birth. It shows where the planets and key points were positioned by ‘house’ and which zodiac sign they occupied. This cosmic map is like your own personal guide and reveals patterns, strengths, challenges, and themes that can help you understand yourself on a deeper level.
What Astrology do you practice?

I practice Western Astrology, using the Placidus house system. I work through an Evolutionary Astrology lens, focusing on the soul’s evolutionary growth and the life lessons that are in need of mastering. I also weave in archetypal and psychological astrology, using the chart as a symbolic map of the psyche, to explore the inner emotional world, behaviour patterns, and subconscious dynamics. I share from a grounded and empowering place, with insight to support self-awareness and conscious choice.
What if I don’t believe in reincarnation, past lives, or that we have a ‘soul’?

That’s okay too! I will tailor the reading accordingly. The lunar nodes can not only be looked at from an evolutionary soul perspective, but also from the view of family ancestry before you. Regardless of whether we are looking at it from a past-life or lineage perspective, quite often there will be themes there that you may recognise playing out from your ancestry.

You don’t need to believe in any of the above to resonate with and still benefit from a reading.
What should I expect if I book a reading?

When you book a reading with me, you’ll receive a personalised, in-depth exploration of your birth chart/transits/forecasting, depending on your chosen reading, and how these influence your life path and personal growth.

Before your session, I will send you a Google form to fill out so that I can tailor the session for you. I spend time preparing your astrology chart and notes so we can go deep into your unique cosmic blueprint. During the reading, I welcome you to ask questions and share your reflections - think of it like a conversation. This is to make it practical, and so we can understand how each astrological energy fits in and relates to you and your life. I’ll guide you through the process in an empowering way, meeting you at your understanding of astrology - this means that if you are a complete beginner to astrology, I will tailor everything in an easy-to-understand way.

Within 48 hours following, you’ll receive an audio recording of the reading, a copy of your birth chart, and any journal/reflection prompts or ‘star-work’ I’ve prepared for you, so that you can come back to it any time you wish.

How can I book a reading with you?

Please send an email to hello@ascensionofvenus.com to organise a date and time for your reading with me. Once we have agreed on a time you will then need to purchase the correct reading via my website. You can otherwise purchase the reading first and then send an email to organise a date and time. Before purchasing, please keep in mind that my calendar gets booked up in advance.
What do I need to provide before my reading?

For any Astrology reading, for it to be accurate, you’ll need to share your birth date, exact birth time, and the city you were born in. If you’re unsure of your time of birth, I recommend asking family or anyone who may have been at your birth. You can also try contacting the DHB where you were born, as some will have kept records.
I don’t know my exact birth time - can I still book a reading?

Yes! While having your exact time helps with deeper insights and understanding how planets can play out in your life, there are still plenty of meaningful things we can explore without it. I’ll tailor the session accordingly.
How long are the reading sessions?

Readings typically run for 30-90 minutes, depending on the type of session you choose. You'll find timing details listed with each offering.
How will the session take place?

Readings are held via Zoom. You'll receive a confirmation email with the link and details after booking.
Can I ask specific questions during the reading?

Absolutely!! I also send out a Google form after you book, which has space for you to share any specific questions or concerns you would like to understand. Whether it’s about relationships, career, or soul purpose, you’re welcome to bring any questions you’d like clarity on.
Do you offer follow-up support or questions after the session?

I offer post-reading support via email for any quick follow-up questions or clarifications related to the reading content, within 7 days post-reading. You can also book a follow-up 30-minute deep dive for anything you would like to delve deeper into - this is available within 4 weeks of your initial reading with me.
What is your cancellation or rescheduling policy?

Once you’ve booked a session with me, readings cannot be cancelled or refunded. Please understand that preparing for your chart reading can take many hours, and I spend dedicated time and energy crafting your session before we even meet. This policy is in place to honour that work and to respect both of our time and energy.

If you have extenuating circumstances and need to reschedule, please let me know at least 24 hours before your appointment, and we can discuss finding a new time together.

If you do not arrive on Zoom within 15 minutes of your scheduled time, the appointment will be considered a no-show, and the fee will be non-refundable. Thank you for respecting and honouring this sacred exchange.
